Helping people find and follow Jesus
What we believe
We believe in an infinite God that created the universe, created us, loves us deeply, and wants a personal relationship with us.
Psalm 90:2 “Before the mountains were born
Or You gave birth to the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.”
Sin separates us from God and as a result, we have a broken relationship in need of repair.
Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.”
The consequences of sin is physical and spiritual death, we have no way to cancel out sin and be reconciled to God in our own ability.
Romans 5:12 “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned”
Jesus Christ was a real person, born of a virgin, God incarnate, never sinned, really performed miracles, and really died on a cross, taking our place. He then rose from the dead 3 days later and His resurrection was confirmed by many eyewitness accounts.
John 20:26-29 “Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
If we trust in Jesus Christ as Lord of our life, we’re forgiven for our sins and when God sees us, He sees us as righteous.
Romans 10:9 “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”
Once you’re saved from spiritual death and reconciled to God, The Holy Spirit will live in you. You’ll be excited where God is moving, and will want to come along side Him in His work.
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
